Vinted Users Voice Displeasure Regarding Size Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its size classifications for women's and children's garments failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to review their products and adjust the sizing manually when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Modifications
Before the change, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Stories
One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
A different member, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Manual Updates
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: earlier, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
