JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not precisely an original feature. Instead, the latest film from the JuJutsu Kaisen action franchise serves as a collection of the series' second installment stitched together with the first two episodes of its next season, which begins the Culling Games narrative from the source material. This positions Execution, which has been given a fresh preview, the first way to watch the beginning of the forthcoming season ahead of its premiere in early 2026. The film debuts in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in North America on Dec. 5.

The Culling Games Plot

In the Culling Games storyline, Elite sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu finally joins the anime series and is tasked by jujutsu higher-ups to take down his classmate Yuji Itadori. Their highly anticipated battle occurs for the first time on the cinema screen, and if the animation team at Mappa have an exceptional piece as installments 40 and 41 in store for fans this holiday season, JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution may turn out to be the present that we've been waiting for.
