Ex- Physician Accused of Assault Charges Against 38 Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have announced that a ex- doctor now faces charges for performing assaults involving thirty-eight victims who were patients.
Details of the Serious Charges
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of acts of sexual assault – including acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021.
One senior CPS official said, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Investigation
These allegations follow what police described as a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
